Cary Kellett

Cary Kellett was raised in High Ridge, Missouri.  He attended Northwest High School and was drafted into the Army after graduation and served with the 101st Airborne Division as an air crash rescue fire team leader.  Cary moved to the 85th Training Division in the Army Reserves in 1974 and retired in 1996 as a Platoon Sergeant.  He worked for Chrysler as a heavy metal repairman and retired in 2006.  Cary is a life-long member of Post 783 of The American Legion serving at all levels – Post Commander for 6 years, District Commander for 2 years, Zone Commander for 1 year and ultimately the Department Commander from 2016-2017.  Cary serves as an Election Supervisor and is on the Board of Directors of Water District Number 8.   He belongs to Faith United Methodist Church and was a President of the Men’s Club and of the Church Directors.  Cary and his wife, Patricia, have two daughters and four grandchildren.
